A New Year is Always a New Beginning!

I want to start by saying thank you for staying friends at Divine Notebook without being with you for fall and winter season on my blog.

In 2017, I reached a point where I needed to take a break. At the end of summer around August I finally got a ‘’writers block”. I wondered why it is so and I realized my mind got tired. Working a day job to pay my bills and working on my children’s book in the evening and weekends. I can’t imagine for the past two years working 60 hours during the week. Of course, I didn’t have time for socializing and I wanted to finish my children’s book, Aimee and Divine Inspiration to be birthed at Balboa Press, June 2016. But I did spent more time on Twitter and Facebook since it didn’t take a lot of effort to write.

But I also went through a lot of stress and anxiety because I started something new. When 2017 arrived I became depleted of energy. And I recognized if I stop working on promoting and marketing my book something would happen. But sometimes we have to let fate take its course. This is where I understood the meaning of ‘Let go and Let God.’ It took me 5 months to understand that reasoning.

But, for some people when they meditate on a particular emotion it may take them a few days others take longer. I’m one of them who take a little longer to understand things. And the part of acceptance is related to our emotions the element of water. When someone cries is not because they are weak. It’s because they are releasing emotions and letting go of things that no longer serves them in their body. We are made of 70% of water and when we feel the vibration of energy, it takes a lot of energy to sustain the negative impact. Like the passive-aggressive mentality, stress and any other possible situation that are negative you can think of, vibrates inside of us. Heck! I’m a sensitive person but some are better at not responding to that harsh energy.

But in reality it all comes to acceptance. What do you accept in your life?

I’m still struggling to understand and to accept God’s will. A dear friend of mine before he passed away in December he told me, ”to accept things and it is God’s will.” As you can understand the month of December became very hard for me. Memories field my mind of my mother. She lost a child a year before I was born. A brother I never met. Time to time she would cry and you can see in her eyes she missed him so dearly.

I could never understand what it felt like to lose someone you truly loved. Until, I lost my mother in 2012 and my dear friend in 2017. I cried so much for both of them to the point my sinuses were fielded with mucus and I had a headache from crying so much. I didn’t feel like going to work that day. And, what was my purpose in this world?

Each person grieves in their own way and during the holidays I can’t imagine how people felt when Jesus died on the cross for us. Of course, to does who believed in Him our Lord and Savior at that moment in time? But my dear friend was truly a holy man to walk the earth and accept God’s will. Maybe I’m afraid to die? I don’t know… I admit that I have a problem with that especially seeing my loves one go. But a profound healing occurred in 5 months of being silenced on my blog, Divine Notebook and my website Aimee on a journey.

The only conclusion is to let go 2017 and start a new year in letting God in my heart. I wish you a Happy New Year into 2018 shared with family and friends with time for laughter and opportunities to create lasting memories. Until next time…

And, I want to finish by saying the past 3 weeks I’ve been guided to explore the meaning of God’s will and realized His presence has a reason and purpose in our lives. So I’m sharing below to whom is called to read the Scriptures, What is God’s Will?

God be with you in your own journey called, ‘FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE’
